High-profile Mobile Patrol

This is a cost-effective and flexible alternative to static security guards or night watchmen, and has proven to be an effective deterrent to crime.

Our SIA Licensed Uniformed Mobile Patrol Officers will undertake regular or staggered patrols, in accordance with your instructions, giving an effective back-up to any alarm system you already have in place. Mobile Patrols can provide an effective alternative or even an addition to permanent security manpower and can be tailored to meet your exact requirements providing you with peace of mind that your premises are being looked after.

Broadland Guarding Services ‘Protected By’ warning boards can also be supplied for display on your premises to act as a deterrent against criminal activity.

We are able to supply an Electronic Tour Recorder by means of an Electronic Checkpoint System which allows us to monitor and record each visit our Mobile Patrol makes to your premises. The information is kept on our main Operating System at the 24-hour manned Control Room at Head Office and daily reports are readily available for our management and we can generate a report for our customers any time one is requested.

This process will involve a number of electronic tags being fitted to your premises either internally or externally and during the Mobile Patrol Officer’s tour of duty. In accordance with their instructions, they will pass their Handheld Data Collection Unit over the electronic tag to register their attendance. This information is instantly sent to the Control Room main frame computer, recording details such as operator, site, date and time.

Should any serious breach of security be discovered, the Mobile Patrol Officer will remain on site until your designated key holder arrives after being contacted by our 24-hour Control Centre. If the officer thought the situation necessitated Police attendance they would contact them in the first instance and then the Control Room.

The Mobile Patrol Officer will always complete an incident report following any form of suspicious activity.

This service relieves you and your staff from the stress and burden of attending any alarm activations during the silent hours and in all weathers, and most importantly, it also reduces the possibility of putting yourself or others at risk.

Each key is uniquely identified by the application of a security seal, which is logged out of the secure control room only when required for an activation. When returned, a new seal is applied and the keys are checked in, providing a full audit of key movements for each individual key.

Details of alarm codes and other specialist instructions are held in the secure control room and are only released, after verification, to authorised personnel who are highly trained in alarm response and panel setting.

We are also able to offer escort services for organisations who do not wish their staff to attend to alarm calls, out of hours, on their own.

Comprehensive documentation for each alarm call is left for our client’s attention after every visit. A copy of this is also available in our 24-hour manned control room.

We are happy to act as our customers’ number one key holder, or as a fail-safe key holder.

There is a possibility that your insurance company may reduce your premium if you employ an SIA licensed security company such as ourselves to act as your key holder; it would be in your interest to check with them on this added value to your business.
