Broadland Guarding Services is one of the industry leaders in the provision of Public Space Surveillance CCTV (PSS) licensed control room staff in the UK.

Every Public Space Surveillance CCTV (PSS) control room that we operate is a partnership with our customer where we supply the expertise, supervision, communication, training, documentation and people to operate the system within codes of practice and the prevailing legislative environment.

Our comprehensive control room documentation means that you can be sure that if something happened, it is recorded in a format acceptable as evidence in criminal or civil cases heard in courts throughout the UK.

Our CCTV support structure includes rapid response officers, who are trained on all the systems we manage so that, in the event of sickness or emergency cover, we will provide a Public Space Surveillance (CCTV) operator licensed and trained on your system.

Our Managers are always available to discuss any aspect of running the CCTV control room with our customers, and provide a useful intermediary at formal CCTV system management meetings.

We qualify all of our Public Space Surveillance CCTV (PSS) staff with the Level 2 Award in CCTV Operations (Public Space Surveillance) as is required for SIA licensing.

Broadland Guarding Services is a member of the CCTV Users Group and has been since its foundation, and Company Managers actively support the CCTV Sector Consultancy Group of Skills for Security as well as the Police & Public Services Section of the British Security Industry Association, which helped develop and review the British Standard for the operation of CCTV Control Rooms. We continuously study developments in all aspects of legislation, including CCTV operations, and incorporate these into our CCTV training courses, along with best practice philosophy.
